PRIVACY POLICY

HOW WE PROTECT YOUR PRIVACY
Xcel Robots respects your privacy and is committed to protecting any personal and business information you may provide through this website. We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information or confidential business data through this website. We do not sell personal or business information to third parties.
This website is primarily intended to provide information about robotic solutions, including allowing individuals and businesses to contact us regarding demonstrations, support, and other aspects of our business.
This Privacy Policy explains how Xcel Robots, LLC ("we," "us," "our," “Xcel" and “Xcel Robots”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information both in connection with Xcel Robots’ online and offline services, systems, and websites, that refer or link to this Privacy Policy, and as explained below, including without limitation, the collection and processing of personal information in connection with robot sales and services. This Privacy Policy applies regardless of the way you interact with our services or the type of device or other means you use to access our services.
Generally, the “Services” covered by this Privacy Policy include the websites, and telephone and text messaging systems that enable you to access our business. Some services or programs offered by us or by our business partners (such as our manufacturers, suppliers and financing partners), may have additional privacy disclosures to help you understand the collection and use of your personal information under the terms of use of those programs. You will be provided notice of these additional privacy disclosures when you register for or use these services. Such disclosures should be read in addition to this Privacy Policy.
Our website may offer connections to other websites including social networks or other third-party plug-ins (such as Facebook’s "Like" button) that enable you to log into other websites, to comment on our website or to share things you found on our website with your social network. The providers of these plug-ins may be able to collect information about you even if you do not click on or otherwise interact with the plug-in or widget and regardless of whether you have an account or other relationship with these social networks and third parties. If you use social network tools or visit social networking sites, you should read their privacy disclosures to learn what information they collect, use, and share.
Xcel Robots reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time by posting the updated Policy here along with the date on which the Policy was changed. If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy that affect the way we collect, use and/or share your personal information, we will notify you by including a "NEWLY UPDATED" label with the "PRIVACY POLICY" link on XcelRobots.com for 30 days after material changes are made. This Privacy Policy is not a contract and does not create any contractual rights or obligations.
INFORMATION THAT WE COLLECT
When we use the term “personal information,” we are referring to information that identifies, relates to, describes, or can be associated with you or your business, including the categories and specific types of information described in this Privacy Policy.
We aim to collect as little personal information as reasonably necessary to operate our business and communicate with potential customers and business partners. In most cases, you may browse our website without providing any personal information. However, our website partners, Odoo, Turbify and Google may collect information about users of our website and share it with us. You may be able to limit information sharing with them in accordance with their policies.
We and our website partners may collect technical information, including browser type, IP address, type of operating system, geolocation, the name of your internet service provider, mobile advertising identifiers, and pages visited on our websites or other digital properties. We may get this information by using technologies, including cookies, web beacons, and device geolocation to provide and improve our website and advertising, including across browsers and devices (also known as cross-device linking). We also use this information to verify that visitors meet the criteria required to process their requests and for reporting activity on our website. For example, we may want to know how long the average user spends on our website or which pages or features get the most attention. We may want to know which geographic regions are most interested in our products. We do not combine this information with personally identifiable information to personalize your experience or to target advertising to your interests. We do not sell your information. Sharing your information with third parties is limited as described in this section. Your internet service provider, your browser, and other parties may collect information about you while you are using our website that we can neither access nor control.
Cookies are small files that are stored on a user’s computer, tablet, or mobile device. A cookie stores a small amount of data on your device about your visit to a website. Some cookies capture your activities during the browser session and expire at the end of the session. Other cookies remain on your device for a specified time and capture your activities on multiple sessions and websites.
We use strictly necessary cookies. Without them you would be unable to browse our website or log into your account. They allow you to complete forms and manage transactions. They also allow us to detect security threats and provide you with a relatively seamless experience. We use these cookies to identify which functions our customers use most often so that we can improve our website. We also monitor website performance issues such as page load and site response times in order to identify and fix problems as they arise.
We do not use functional cookies. We don’t provide personalized experiences based on your previous choices. We don’t remember what products you looked at previously. While you may have to re-enter some information, it means we aren’t tracking every move you make and targeting you with information that you don’t want.
We don’t use performance, advertising or targeting cookies. While we may deliver advertising on our website, it is not based on data that we have gathered about you. You will get information about grocery store robots if you look at them even though you may operate a hotel. Or you may may see a promotion for lawn-moving robots without searching for them or even having a lawn to mow.
We don’t control your browser. When you leave our website, your browser or internet service provider may show you advertising for competing products or services, such as lawn mowers from a hardware store. To control those ads, you must restrict the cookies from your browser. To opt out of interest-based advertising across browsers and devices, you may be able to opt out through the Digital Advertising Alliance or Network Advertising Initiative websites or through the settings on your mobile device. Note that your opt-out choice may apply only to the browser or device you are using when you opt out, so you should opt out on each of your browsers and devices if you want to disable all cross-device linking for interest-based advertising. Further, if you opt out, you may still receive ads but they may not be as relevant to you and your interests.
If you do not wish to receive cookies, you may be able set your browser to reject cookies or to alert you when a cookie is placed on your device. You may also delete cookies as soon as you leave our website. Although you are not required to accept cookies when you visit our website, if you set your browser to reject all cookies, you may not be able to use some of the features of our website.
You may voluntarily provide us with information, either directly by contacting us through this website, by telephone or fax, or through third parties such as survey companies or social media networks. This information may include your name, your company name, your email address and phone number, your physical address and any other information that you may submit. This information may be submitted through contact forms, appointment requests, demonstration requests, email enquiries, employment applications, requests for proposals (RFPs) or price quotations, support or service requests, or other means of contact. This also includes information provided via survey, focus group or other marketing research efforts, the content of chat, text message, social media, or other communications with us, recordings of calls to our automated or live representative phone services, and our responses to you.
If we need to collect information from you, you may have the option to decline providing us that information. However, your choice to not provide information may impact your use of certain features or services. For example, if you decline to provide billing information required to sell you a robot, you will not be able to buy a robot. As much as we are a technology company, we still see value in using paper documents sent by snail mail. That remains an option for anyone who wants to avoid transmitting sensitive data over the internet.
The content of correspondence you send to us may retained by us. We may link or combine information that we collect about you. This may include information that we collect offline (such as in-person), information we collect online (such as our website), and information that we get from third-party sources. We may maintain personal information about you or your business from those sources to understand and meet your needs, manage our business, and for other purposes disclosed to you.
FINANCIAL INFORMATION
If we enter into a transaction with you, we will require payment information, including credit or debit card number(s), expiration date(s), bank routing and account numbers, and associated billing address(es). We will share that information with entities involved in processing or fulfilling your transactions with us, such as payment processors, payment card issuers and networks, banks, and fraud detection and prevention services.
ROBOT AND OPERATIONAL DATA
This website does not collect operational robot telemetry, navigation data, camera feeds, audio recordings, environmental mapping, or other information from robots. If your organization purchases or deploys robotics solutions through us, operational, diagnostic, and warranty-related information may be processed separately by the robot manufacturer, software provider, or cloud platform associated with the deployed solution. We may be able to access some of that information through these sources.
Any collection and use of such data is governed by the applicable agreements, manufacturer policies, and deployment documentation provided during implementation. We encourage customers to review the privacy and data-handling documentation supplied by the robot manufacturer before deployment.
SENSITIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION
While we do not intend to collect sensitive personal information or confidential business data from most website visitors, to the extent that the information we collect constitutes sensitive personal information or confidential business data, we will collect and process this information within the limits provided by applicable law.
In some instances, mobile devices or online services may offer you the choice of biometric identification such as fingerprint or facial recognition for enhanced security and convenience. Where possible, these security measures rely on your personal device’s own internal biometric management and secure storage, in which case Xcel Robots does not have access to any biometric information. You may contact your device’s biometric management creator (such as Apple or Google) for more information about their biometric security technology.
When you provide information to us about your business or other individuals, you confirm to us that you are acting on behalf of such individuals or your business, and you have their permission to provide us their information for use in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not have their permission, you must not provide us with any information about the business or these individuals.
EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION
If you are interested in working for us, we may collect information about you, including your name, gender, date of birth, social security number, driver's license number, address(es), telephone number(s), email address(es), fax number(s), pager number(s), and social media handle(s) as well as your employment history and emergency contact information. We may seek credit reports, driving records, arrest records, health history and other sensitive information. We may require pre-employment and post-employment drug testing. Which information is required and how we handle it depends on the position that is desired. Policies covering the collection, retention, and use of sensitive personal information are disclosed during the application process. These policies are separate from this Privacy Policy.
If you are interested in employment with us, contact us at humanresources@Xcelrobots.com. You should provide us some general information about your background, your desired position and office location and why you want to work for us. You should not provide any sensitive information other than your name and how to reach you. All enquiries are read by human beings. However, we generally do not have many open positions and will not respond to everyone who wants to work for us. If there is a potential fit for you in our organization, we will reach out to you and provide further information on the application and interview process. Your information will be kept on file for at least six months. If it contains any sensitive information other than your name and contact information, it will either be redacted or destroyed in its entirety immediately.
USE OF YOUR INFORMATION
We use your personal and business information only for legitimate business purposes, including responding to inquiries, scheduling demonstrations, providing quotations, completing transactions and fulfilling requests for information about our products and services. This information is also needed to provide customer or technical support and process warranty and service requests.
We may also use personal information to verify your identity, including for security purposes. We may use personal and business information for administrative, analytical, and marketing purposes such as employee training, information systems management, accounting, billing and audits, credit card processing and verification, customer-relations correspondence, and/or operation and improvement of our services. This information may also be necessary to comply with legal, regulatory, or fiscal obligations, or in connection with litigation or an internal investigation or audit.
Video and audio recording with Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras may be use in and around our offices, warehouses, and other premises. Our telephone systems may record calls in accordance with applicable legal requirements, and we may also keep logs or records of customer interactions on our website. DATA SHARING
We may share information with trusted partners when necessary to provide requested services or support. Examples may include product manufacturers, technical support providers and installation or deployment partners.
We may also disclose or share information about you to third parties in order to provide the products and services you request or for administrative, analytical, and marketing purposes. This may include trucking companies, delivery services, credit card processors, banking partners, credit bureaus, fraud prevention services, suppliers, manufacturers, and other third parties. Website hosting and service providers may also have access to certain information in accordance with their data collection policies.
To the extent required by law, we may disclose personal or business information to government or law enforcement agencies, or to third parties pursuant to a subpoena or other legal process. We may also disclose your information to law firms and courts to enforce or apply a contract with you or to protect our legal rights. In the event we undergo a business transition involving another company, such as a merger, corporate reorganization, acquisition, or lease or sale of all or a portion of our assets as part of a due diligence or business integration process; or in the event of a bankruptcy.
We may also disclose employee’s personal information to third-party vendors that assist us with providing payroll services, administering benefits offered by us, or managing other aspects of human resources services, including licensure and drug testing.
If your account includes emergency contact information, we may share personal and business information with your emergency contact or attempt to collect information about you from your emergency contact, as appropriate based on the nature of the emergency.

When your personal information is shared, we will take a reasonable approach to prevent the unauthorized use of personal information.
While Xcel Robots attempts to safeguard your personal information, no method of transmitting or storing electronic or paper information is ever completely secure, and thus we make no warranty, express, implied, or otherwise, that your information will never be accessed, used or released in a manner that is inconsistent with this Privacy Policy.
To make sure your access to our Services is secure; you should not share your log in or account details with anyone else. You should always log out of our website after each use if others have access to your computer or device. DATA RETENTION
Your personal and business information will be retained only for so long as reasonably necessary for the purposes set out above and consistent with our data retention policies, considering criteria such as applicable rules on statute of limitations, legal requirements and the duration of your use of our services. We generally retain personal and business information for up to seven years after you terminate your relationship with us or a longer period as necessary for legal defense purposes or as required by tax, employment or other applicable laws and regulations.
To the extent it is required to do so by law, we will permanently destroy any biometric data or identifiers in our possession once the initial purpose for collecting or obtaining them has been satisfied. This applies to any biometric identifiers or information received by us from any source, even if that source does not refer or link to this Privacy Policy.
E-MAIL MARKETING
We generally avoid email marketing except in response to inquiries that you make to us. If we send you unsolicited emails, you will have options to reduce or stop receiving marketing messages from us. However, regardless of your opt-out preferences, we reserve the right to send you certain communications for transaction fulfillment, notifications of changes to our services, and other operational purposes. If you have questions or want to opt out of marketing communications, please email administration@xcelrobots.com with your request.
Except as described earlier, Xcel Robots does not sell or share your personal or business information with third parties for those parties' own purposes such as to market their own products and services to you.
